Coastal Management DME AQA GCSE Geography

Description

A decision-making exercise (DME) based on the proposed extension of coastal defences at Withernsea on the Holderness Coast. The decision-making exercise has been developed to support teachers and students preparing for the AQA GCSE Geography paper 3 exam.

The resources can be used to support delivering the AQA Geography Coastal Environments unit as well as preparing students for completing the DME element of paper 3. The DME can also be used in key stage 3 to help students prepare for GCSE style assessment.

The download pack contains a resource booklet containing information relating to the proposed extension to the coastal defences at Withernsea, Holderness Coast, including a licensed OS map extract of the area and amazing aerial photographs of the affected area, an AQA paper 3 style exam and a detailed mark scheme.
