Google Earth Engine Timelapse

Google Earth Engine Timelapse is a global, zoomable video that lets you see how the Earth has changed over the past 35 years. Google Earth Engine Timelapse is an excellent resource for demonstrating changes in places over time. The site integrates satellite images, taken over time, and stitches them together as an animation. The site integrates satellite images from 1985 to 2019. A recent update now allows you to create a link to an animation along with the ability to embed your timelapse into a website.

The website also includes links to a range of timelapse animations demonstrating significant changes on our planet. These currently include:
